The Directorate of Distance Education, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan (established by HEC vide letter No.DG/QA/HEC/2008/759 dated 10.03.2008) invites applications on the prescribed form available at Bahauddin Zakariya University website: www.bzu.edu.pk (Distance Education) for admission to Weekend Program. The classes will be conducted on regular basis on weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) under Semester System.

Eligibility:

I.   The candidates who want to seek admission to weekend M.Phil. Program are required to have at least second class Master Degree or sixteen years education or equivalent degree in the relevant subject, as has been recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The GAT-General conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required at the time of admission to M.Phil. The GAT-General test is valid for a period of two years.

II.   For Admission to M. A./M.Sc. /M.Com./L.L.B., the candidates must be Graduates (holding of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. degrees).

III.   For Admission to B. Com. and Diploma in Health & Physical Education, the applicants must have passed I.Com./F.A./F.Sc. or three years Diploma in Associate Engineering.

IV.   For Admission to Diploma in Veterinary Assistant, the applicants must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent.

V.   The applicants who want to seek admission to M.A. must be graduates from any HEC Recognized University.

VI.   For Admission to M.Sc. in Mathematics, the candidate must have passed B.Sc. Examination from any HEC Recognize University with mathematics (A&B courses).

VII.   There is no upper age limit for admission to any program.

       I.            Advertisement to appear on :                                       28^th  November 2011  (Monday)

2. Last date for the receipt of applications:                  27^th December 2011 (Tuesday)
3. Display of first list of selected candidates:                 2^nd January  2012 (Monday)
4. Payment of dues (first list ):                                          6^th January  2012 (Friday)
5. Display of second list of selected candidates:          7^th January  2012 (Saturday)
6. Payment of dues (second list ):                                  11^th January  2012 (Wednesday)
7. Display of third list of selected candidates:             12^th January  2012 (Thursday)
8. Commencement of Classes:                                          14^thJanuary 2012 (Saturday)
