According to the charter of the University, admission is open to persons of either sex, race, creed, colour or domicile who are academically qualified for admission to the courses offered by the University. Admission Schedule
Issuance of Admission Form 18-01-2012 to 31-01-2012 Admission form Rs. 1000/- Application Procedure:
Forms can be obtained for RS.1000 from the Admission Office, Karakoram International University, Gilgit Baltistan on working days (Monday to Friday between 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and also available in KIU website).
No Application will be received after 31-01-2012 .Phone calls or third party interference will NOT be entertained and may cause black listing of the candidate.
Note :

Admission will be made if the strength exceeds 100 both in Masters and Bachelors. Students will pay extra fee if the strength in Master level is less than 100 but not below 75.

Minimum criteria for admission in KIU is second division (45% marks) or equivalent.

Admissions at DCET to commence from Jan 23, 2012
Karachi—Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET),
Karachi, has announced hat new admissions would commence from
January 23.
The Principal of DCET, Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh, said on
Wednesday that these admissions would be in the disciplines
of Architecture and Planning, Chemical Engineering, Computer
System Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Energy and
Environment Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management,
Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Petroleum and
Gas Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering from 23rd
January.
He said that the college, which has been devolved to Governemnt of
Sindh under 18th constitutional amendment, shall commence its
admission process from 23rd January.
The entrance test will be held on 26th Feb at Karachi, Sukkur and
Islamabad respectively, under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Wahab
Khan of the Muhammad Ali Jinnah University.
Giving details about the seats allocation Dr Shaikh said that
total number of seats is 500, out of which 100 seats will be filled on
self financing basis, while 400 seats have been divided into various

Admissions open for M.Phil in Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) (Female only).
FJWU has a M. Phil Program, consistent with the HEC M.Phil criteria/requirement. It is for mid-career level women who are planning to move ahead in Higher Education to take up positions of informed decision making that may impact policy planning. It is a modular program comprising two elements: Four Taught courses and a Research-based Thesis. The minimum period for the completion of the course for part-time students is 2.5 years.
Applicants are required to have:
- Minimum of 1st division in Masters from any Higher Education Commission (HEC) Recognized University.
- Cleared HEC, GRE/GAT with 50% score.
- NOC from the employer (if applicable)
- Preference will be given to the students who have completed masters with Research Thesis.
- Minimum two years of work experience
The application forms are available at First Women Bank of Rawalpindi only for Rs. 1000/- and can also be downloaded from the university website www.fjwu.edu.pkand sent to the Registrar office along with a bank draft of 1000/- in favor of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi through post/courier.
Last Date for submission of Applications:
Application on prescribed form complete in all respects should be submitted in the Registrar Office by February 3, 2012.
