GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  1. Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 23-06-2014 upto 04:00 P.M. Candidates should fill the Online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission’s website www.ppsc.gop.pk.. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 04:00 P.M (office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.

 

2.        Original Treasury receipt of Rs.400/- under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, will be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned in the Online application form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of written test, interview / viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test, interview / viva voce Original receipt will be retained by PPSC staff, for record purposes.

 

3.        HARD COPY of ON-LINE Application Form is not needed.

 

  1. Correspondence with candidates will be done through E-mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail             account immediately.

 

  1. If the number of applicants is higher than 10000 or Post-to-Candidate ratio is more than 1:100, the candidates shall be shortlisted for written test as per Post-to-Candidate ratio of 1:50 on academic basis.

 

  1. The academic merit will be calculated on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the Board/University examination form Matric to minimum qualification provided in the online application form as per policy.

 

  1. If a candidate possesses higher qualification of minimum two years then the minimum qualification prescribed for a post, he/ she will be exempted from shortlisting and will be called for written test.

 

  1. Schedule of written test will be given on PPSC website from where Candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test/ Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission Office or visit the Commission’s Website:www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

 

  1. If number of applications is less than 150, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview on academic basis without any written test if written test is not mandatory in the prescribed Service Rules.

 

  1. IN CASE ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CANDIDATE IN HIS/ HER ONLINE APPLICATION FORM PROVE TO BE INCORRECT AT ANY STAGE, HE/ SHE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN UNDER THE RULES.

 

  1. The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce/interview, before finalization of viva-voce/ interview.
  2. Candidates presently living /residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile may also apply.

 

13.        In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online application form should be filled in mentioning ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from Provincial Council for rehabilitation     of disabled persons of Social Welfare Department.

 

  1. Following documents in original along with a set of photocopy will be required, if called for interview / viva voce:

a)         Treasury receipt of fee deposited (in original).

b)         Matriculation Certificate or in case of ‘O’ Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad showing total/obtained marks, date of birth. Or school leaving certificate showing date of Birth.

c)         Intermediate Certificate / ‘A’ level along with equivalent qualification from IBCC, Islamabad showing total/ obtained marks.

d)         Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Biology / Zoology / Social Work/ Sociology / Psychology / Applied Psychology / Rural Sociology. Degrees/Detailed marks certificate duly issued by the Controller of Examinations, Showing total/obtained marks, CGPA/GPA or percentages of marks.

e)         Degree and Detailed marks of MBBS (1st to final profs.) duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total/ obtained marks and percentages duly issued by Controller of Exam.

f)          Six Month House Job in E.N.T. duly issued by Medical Superintendent of Hospital.

g)         B.A,, B.Sc Degree/ Detailed marks of duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total/obtained marks and percentages.

h)         Master’s degree Special Education/Psychology duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentages.

i)          Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.

j)         In case of Government Servant, the Departmental Permission Certificate (available on PPSC website) duly signed and stamped by the competent authority of         concerned Department.

k)          Experience certificate (specimen available on website) issued from competent authority

l)         Original valid C.N.I.C.

m)        Passport size photograph.

n)         Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by H.E.C and declared equivalent by the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee of the concerned department.

o)         Disability certificate, if ‘ Yes’ in Column 20 of Online Application form has been ticked duly issued/verified by Social Welfare Department.

 

Important Note:            Candidates will be admitted to the written test provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates declared successful in written test, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he appeared in the written test or qualified therein. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

 

1.             Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 17-06-2013 till 4.00 pm. Candidate should fill the Online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission’s website www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 04:00 P.M (office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.

 

2.             Original Treasury receipt of Rs.400/- under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, will be deposited in any      branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned in the On-line Application Form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of interview, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the written test/ interview. Original receipt will be retained by PPSC Staff for record purposes.

 

3.             HARD COPY of ONLINE Application Form is not needed.

 

4.             Correspondence with candidates will be done through E-mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail account immediately.

 

5.             In case a large number of applications are received, one paper Multiple               Choice Questions ( MCQ) type written test of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualification and job description of the post will be conducted to shortlist the candidates. Details of written test will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test / Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission Office or visit the Commission’s Website www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

 

6.             For all those posts where written test is to be held, it will most likely be held after two weeks of closing date.

7.             The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce/interview, before a date for viva-voce/interview has been fixed.

8.             Candidates presently living/residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile may also apply.

9.             In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online application form should be filled in mentioning ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from Provincial Council for rehabilitation of disabled persons of Social Welfare Department.

WRITTEN TEST & SYLLABUS

An MCQ type test of graduate level of 100 marks and 2 hours duration will be conducted which will consists of 100 questions to be equally apportioned amongst following five fields of studies:-

English, Urdu, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat/ Ethics.

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

 

1.             Applicants are required to submit ONLINE Application Forms by the closing date which is 01-07-2013 till 4.00 pm. Candidate should fill  the Online form carefully for which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission’s website www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 04:00 P.M (office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications.

 

2.             Original Treasury receipt of Rs.400/- for Sr. No. 59, 60, 67, 68, 69, 70 and Rs: 300/- for Sr. No.61 to 66 under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, will be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned in the On-line Application Form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of written test /interview, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the written test/interview/ viva voce. Original receipt will be retained by PPSC Staff for record purposes.

 

 

3.             HARD COPY of ONLINE Application Form is not needed.

 

4.             Correspondence with candidates will be done through E-mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the On-Line Application form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail account immediately.

 

5.             Schedule of interviews for the said posts will be uploaded on the Commission’s website. Candidates should download their interview call letters/venue from the website. 6.             In case a large number of applications are received, one paper Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ) type written test of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualification and job description of the post will be conducted to shortlist the candidates.

No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test / Interview individually. 8.             The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva-voce/interview, before a date for viva-voce/interview has been fixed.

f)              Degree of MBBS / Detailed marks of MBBS (1st to final profs.) duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total/obtained marks and percentages and postgraduate degree / DMC in the subject. In case detailed marks are not produced then minimum passing marks will be considered. (For Sr. No.61 to 66 )

g)            Valid P.M.D.C registration certificate showing all medical degrees/postgraduate qualifications therein.

h)            Certificate in support of the above physical measurements, from the MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT of the District Headquarters Hospital or Services Hospital, Lahore. (Only for Traffic Wardens)

i)              Degree / Detailed marks of Graduation from a recognized university duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage.

j)              Detail marks of Master’s degree in Economics Statistics, Commerce or equivalent qualification from a recognized university duly issued by Controller of Examinations showing total / obtained marks and percentage.

k)             Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering / Detailed marks certificate duly issued by the Controller of Examinations.

l)              1st Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency granted under the Mines Act, 1923, Rules & Regulation.

m)           Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.

n)            In case of Government Servant, Departmental Permission Certificate (available on PPSC website) duly signed and stamped by the competent authority of concerned Department.

o)            Experience certificate (specimen available on website) issued from competent authority.

p)            Valid C.N.I.C.

q)            Disability certificate, if “Yes” in Column 20 of Online Application Form has been ticked.

r)             Passport size photograph.

s)            Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by H.E.C and declared equivalent by the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee of the concerned Department.

 

Important Note: Candidates will be admitted to the written test (if held) and called for interview / viva voce provisionally. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

 

1.         Applicants are required to submit ONLINE  Application Forms by the closing date which is 10-12-2012 upto 3:00 pm. Candidates should fill the ON-LINE Form carefully for which detailed Guidelines and Instructions have been given on Punjab Public Service Commission’s  website: www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any data, will be available to the candidates till 3:00 p.m. (Office closing time) of last date of submission of online applications.

2.         Original Treasury receipt of Rs.300/- for Sr. No.169, Rs: 400/- for Sr. No. 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179  &  Rs.700/- for Sr. No. 170 & 171 under head: “C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, will be deposited in any branch of State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury and receipt number will be mentioned in the Online application form. Original receipt will be produced at the time of written test, interview / viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test, interview / viva voce. Original receipt will be retained by PPSC staff, for record purposes.

3.         HARD COPY of ON-LINE Application Form is not needed.  (For Sr. No.170 to 179)

4.         Correspondence with candidates will be done through e-mail. Candidates are advised to mention their e-mail addresses in the ON-LINE Application Form. Those who do not have e-mail addresses are advised to create e-mail account immediately.

 

5.         In case a large number of applications are received, one paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks relating to prescribed qualification and job description of the post will be conducted to shortlist the candidates. Details will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues. No candidate will be informed about the date of Written Test/Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch with the Punjab Public Service Commission Office or visit the Commission’s Website www.ppsc.gop.pk for further information.

6.         Schedule of written examination/test will be uploaded on the Commission’s website.  Details will be given on PPSC website from where candidates can download their roll numbers and information about date, time and venues. 8.         For all those posts where written test is to be held, it will most likely be  held after two weeks of closing date.

9.         The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the competent          authority only if no date for written examination is fixed and in case when selection is made only on the basis of viva voce/interview, before a date for viva voce/ interview has been fixed.

10.       Candidates presently living/residing abroad and having Punjab Domicile        may also apply.

11.       In case of disabled person, Column 20 of Online Application Form should be filled in mentioning “Yes” or “No”. If the candidate is disabled, he/she will have to submit a certificate from Provincial Council for rehabilitation of          disabled persons of Social Welfare Department.

 

12.       Following documents in original along with a set of photocopy will be required, if called for interview / viva voce:

            a)         Treasury receipt of fee deposited, or (photocopy; in case original handed over to PPSC Staff at the time of written test).

b)         Matriculation Certificate, showing date of birth and in case of ‘O’ Level, equivalent certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and date of birth given in school leaving certificate.

c)         Intermediate Certificate/ ‘A’ level along with certificate of equivalent qualification.

d)         Bachelor’s Degree / Detailed marks of relevant academic certificates.

e)         LLM/Bar-at-Law / LLB degree / Detailed Marks of relevant certificates.

f)          Valid Registration certificate from Pakistan Engineering Council.

g)         Domicile certificate of relevant district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.

h)         In case of Government Servant, the Departmental Permission Certificate (available on PPSC website) duly signed and stamped by the competent authority of concerned Department.

i)          Experience Certificate (Specimen available on web site) issued from competent authority, if required.

j)          Valid C.N.I.C.

k)         Passport size photograph.

l)          Disability certificate, if “Yes” in Column 20 of Online Application Form has been ticked.

m)        Punjab Bar Council’s upto date / valid registration certificate showing the date of enrolment.

n)         Experience certificate from President High Court bar Association / Competent Authority duly countersigned and affixing rubber stamps (in original), showing date of membership. (For Sr. No.170).

o)         Candidates are required to produce original experience certificate showing date of membership issued by President District Bar Association/Sub-Divisional Bar Association and duly countersigned and rubber stamped by concerned District and Session Judge. (For Sr. No. 171)

p)         Foreign qualification(s) must be recognized by H.E.C & declared equivalent by the Q.E.D.C of the concerned department.

q)         Certificate in support of the above physical measurements, from the MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT of any of the District Headquarters Hospital or Services Hospital,Lahore. (Sr. No.177)

Important Note: Candidates will be admitted to the written examination/ test/ interview/ viva voce provisionally. On detailed scrutiny of applications of candidates declared successful in written examination, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under rules, his/her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she appeared in the written examination or qualified therein. To avoid frustration, candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules and selection criteria as advertised relating to the post before the closing date.
